About the CEO
I believe children learn best when they feel strong, confident, and supported. That belief didn’t come from a textbook, it grew from my own experience with movement, training, and working closely with children who needed more than traditional approaches.

While in graduate school, I found boxing and jiu-jitsu to be powerful tools for building focus, discipline, and emotional regulation. As I trained, I began to notice something familiar; the same principles used in behavior therapy (motivation, consistency, shaping, and reinforcement) were naturally happening through movement.

That connection became deeply personal when I helped my younger brother apply these ideas in his children’s jiu-jitsu classes. I watched children who struggled with attention, frustration, or confidence begin to thrive because they felt engaged, empowered, and motivated to try.

I would often overhear children talking about how “cool” their coach was, and it stayed with me. In those moments, I saw how powerful it is when children feel safe, supported, and inspired by the adults guiding them. Growth happens best when trust comes first.

Working in early intervention only reinforced what I already believed; when therapy honors a child’s need to move, explore, and feel capable, learning becomes meaningful and lasting. I began to imagine a different kind of ABA practice. One that strengthens both the mind and body and meets children exactly where they are.

Iron Minds ABA Therapy was created from that vision. Our goal is to help children build emotional regulation, confidence, and real-life skills through evidence-based ABA integrated with movement, structure, and positive challenge.

Iron Minds was built on faith, community, and a deep desire to serve families with compassion and integrity. I am grateful for the mentors, friends, and training community who supported this journey, and for God’s guidance in turning a calling into a purpose-driven practice. As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” At Iron Minds, we believe children grow best when they are encouraged, challenged, and supported every step of the way.
